Polyurethane is commonly used in the concrete industry due to sliding wear. The customer upgraded from Polyurethane paddles to Duroxite 101 paddles in the mixer drum, resulting in improved wear life and giving a better coefficient of friction. Six month after, the wear was measured, and very minimal 0.006’’ wear was found with 80,000 cubic meters of concrete produced.
